Tiny Boss

Hoyt has been part of Chip’s Chop Shop from the very beginning—growing up alongside the buzz of the clippers while Mom and Dad built the shop from the ground up.

Over the years, plenty of customers have become his buddies, too. On any given day, someone might be opening a popsicle for him, playing a game, listening to one of his wild stories, or helping clean up whatever mess he just made. Some of the best moments are when Hoyt and a customer start giving each other a hard time and carrying on like a couple of boys.

He’s Toro’s best friend, an essential piece of the Chip’s family, and living proof that some of the biggest personalities around here are still too young to hold clippers. You may not see much of Hoyt online, but his presence is woven right into the heart of the shop.
